Do I know who I am? Do I know where I belong? Do I know what my purpose in life is? Do I want to have deeper friendships? Am I __________ (fill in the blank)? These are just some of the questions that teens ask themselves everyday. And the list is endless!
With the influences of the world at large as well as their peers, our youth today are bombarded by unrealistic images and pressures. Ground Zero is a safe place to talk about those pressures and how to handle them.
With an attitude that Jesus ROCKS! Our teens explore Him through spirit-filled worship, practical sermons, fun games, great fellowship, exciting field trips, and awesome retreats and conferences.
Do you want to have a closer relationship with God? Do you want spirit-filled worship, and to learn what the Grace of God is all about? Then this is the place for you!
If you asked Todd and Mindy Bowman, "Do you see yourselves as youth ministers?", their answer would have been an emphatic, "No!" However, in January of 2010, the need arose, and God gave them a mutual calling to assume the leadership of Christ Fellowship's Ground Zero youth group.
Since then, they have been blessed in countless ways with the privilege of watching the young men and women in the group grow into maturing Christians and Disciples of Jesus Christ. Todd and MIndy have had the equal opportunity to grow in ways they could never have imagined when answering this calling. With seven children of their own, stepping into the role of youth ministry was inevitable.
Todd and Mindy are charter members of Christ Fellowship and are both active participants on the praise and worship team. Todd is also an Elder and Council member.
